Audio Codes Mediant 1000 Media Processor Module (MPM)
The AudioCodes Mediant 1000 device supports up to three MPMs for IP media server features (eg Conferencing, SBC and IP routing applications). The Media Processor Module (MPM) can be placed in chassis slots 3, 4, 5, or 6, depending on the required configuration.
Compatibility Check
After the AudioCodes Mediant 1000 Media Processor Module is inserted into the slot or in an automated hardware, the LED lights green to indicate that the AudioCodes MPM is in good general condition or that the device supports the module.
A red LED after the AudioCodes Media Processor Module is inserted into the slot and the automatic hardware compatibility check indicates that the MPM has a "General Failure", ie a hardware compatibility problem has occurred or it cannot identify the DSPs.
